Step 3: Now from the menu tab shown given below. Click on Data and Personalisation button.
Step 4: Now scroll down and click on Delete a service or your account.
Step 5: If you want a backup of your data click on Download your data otherwise click on Delete a Google service.
Step 6: Now a new verification page will open. Enter your password to verify it’s you only.
Step 7: Click on the bin icon just beside the Gmail row from the services listed.
Step 8: Now you have to enter a new email address for signing in for using other Google services but you can also use email addresses from other service providers. If you don’t have an account other then on Google.You can create it on other mail providers like Yahoo!, Hotmail etc
Step 9: After this, now you have to log in to the email id you provided and check an email you received like this and click on the link given.
Step 10: Check the box and click on the link to delete your Gmail account.
Step 11: You have successfully deleted your Gmail account. Now click on Done.
