Do you know why Steve Jobs dropped the first iPod prototype in an aquarium? The big lesson for entrepreneurs

We all know Steve jobs believed in the fact that Quality is more important than Quantity. So he always wanted to make fewer apple products but at a very high-quality level.

Once, engineers presented the first prototype of the iPod to Steve Jobs for its approval. They told Steve that it is having the least possible thickness of 19.8 mm. Steve rejected the prototype by saying that reduce the thickness to get approval. Engineers tried to convince him that more size compression is not possible.

Steve took the iPod with himself and threw it in the aquarium tank. When iPod touched down and bubbles coming out of it were at the top, he said “Those are air bubbles that mean there’s space in there. Make it smaller.” This is a very great lesson for entrepreneurs.

Since then these words are still in the core values of apple’s engineers. You know what now apple’s most recent iPod is only 6.1 mm thin, and every space is utilized.
